Do you have a child you'd like to get interested in rowing or just fitness in general? We've got a fun event for the kids 12 years of age and under to compete in that is a safe way to introduce or further ignite their passion for fun competition. This live virtual race is an excellent opportunity to let them participate and learn about rowing in the privacy of their own home with no intimidation or the craziness of an in-person event. And they'll get a race decal for signing up!

IMPORTANT By registering for the Ergon Metron or any other Fools Fest Sprints event, I declare that I am physically able to compete and in no way hold Fools Fest Sprints, ErgZone, or any of their partners or sponsors liable for any injury or health issue I may sustain by participating. I'm entering at my own risk!
To compete virtually against other racers, you will need to use the ErgZone mobile app. This requires three things:
PM5 Monitor (with updated firmware).
C2 Logbook Account
Both the ErgZone mobile app and C2 logbook account are free. The only thing you pay to compete in one of our races is your entry fee.
If your erg doesn’t have a PM5 monitor:
Set up your monitor manually by programming in the race piece on race day and do the event at its scheduled time.
Enter your race metrics into the free ErgZone app, including as many screenshots as are needed to show the entire race on your monitor as soon as you finish.
You have 24 hrs to enter your results manually after you finish the event. This allows racers in different time zones to compete at reasonable hours.
Manual results will not be accepted with an incorrect race date displayed on the monitor. If you are racing in a different time zone, you must race on race day at the official start time. E.g., If the race starts at 9:45 am CDT on April 2nd, then you start at 9:45 am, whenever it’s 9:45 am on April 2nd in your city.
Anyone competing in the Ergon Metron Series Cup MUST race on the scheduled race day of the event and at its scheduled start time (virtually or offline) to remain in contention for the EM Series Cup Championship.
RACERS IN OTHER TIME ZONES may compete at their local time on Sunday, April 2, but they MUST submit their results immediately after completing the event at their local time.
COMPETING ON AN OLDER MODEL ERG? If your erg doesn't have a PM5 monitor, you can still compete. You cannot participate in live racing, but your score will count in the official results and rankings. Just enter your race time manually and submit a screenshot of your monitor so we can verify your event.
Manual Submissions must be entered on Sunday, April 2, and have the correct time per your location (9:45 am CDT in Chicago is 3:45 pm in London) to be counted in the official rankings and be posted on our website.
Make sure the date on your monitor is correct! We will only be accepting manual results from monitor screens dated 3-12-2023.
