Erg Power Series 2026 featured image
  • Test and build your power on the erg and compete with athletes from around the world.
  • 12 September - 9 October 2026. 4 weeks, 4 workouts.
  • The sessions will be short and sharp. Expect improvement on distances such as 100m, 500m up to a 1k.

COMPETITION RULES

  • Appropriate weight division must be selected at the point of registration.
  • Events are released Saturday 12:00 (noon) CEST with a score deadline of Friday 18:00 CEST.
  • Any damper setting can be used.
  • No slides and no belt allowed.
  • Athletes can have multiple attempts at each workout.
  • You need to have access to Concept2 PM5 monitor.
  • Manual entries will only be accepted in very specific cases and only if the workout scored metrics allow it.
  • This is a clean competition; we expect all participants to respect this. Fair play.
  • Medals will be awarded only to podium finishers who complete all 4 workouts.
  • No mechanical adjustment of the erg is allowed.

CATEGORIES

Weight divisions

MALE

  • Open weight
  • Light to middle weight ≤80 kg

FEMALE

  • Open weight
  • Light to middle weight ≤65 kg

Age and other categories

  • Open (any age can participate in the open events, if they decide so)
  • Juniors (under 19 years) - no weight categories for this group
  • Masters 40 - 49
  • Masters 50 - 59
  • Veterans 60+
  • Para rowers - no age and weight categories for this group

Teams 2 women, 2 men - no need to be at the same location.

ELIGIBILITY Proof of performance may be required for prize eligibility (video) - we might contact you during the competition to plan ahead. Proof of weight may be required for lightweight category.

REFUNDS We are not able to provide refunds if you register and are not able to participate.

Note on para categories: The Erg Power Series is still piloting the para categories. Classifications for para categories are merged for this pilot - thank you for your understanding. The plan is to introduce all classification categories in the future.
