Crazy In Love Erg Marathon

You have to be Crazy In Love to erg 42,195 meters! For those who want to test the depth of their devotion to indoor rowing, we’ve got a virtual event for you! Row 42,195 meters (a marathon) in 24 hrs.

Entry Fee Options:

• Full Entry $25 – All race merch and media
• Speed Pass Entry $15 – Race access only

Entry fees are the same for US and International racers and include shipping and handling.

Racing live via the ErgZone app:

The 42,195 meters will be broken into 4000m intervals without any scheduled rest in between, but YOU MAY REST!

If you want to take a break, stand up, hydrate and stretch, go to the bathroom, etc., simply put your handle in the cradle and leave your phone connected to your monitor. If your phone is connected to the event via ErgZone, it will not time out. It doesn’t matter when you take a break or for how long. If you need to hit the bathroom at 22,315 meters, get up and go! Just don’t take your phone with you. Leave your phone connected to the event exactly where it is.

Once you stop rowing, your flywheel will spin down to a stop, but the elapsed time will continue as you take your break. When you return, sit down and start rowing.

Manual Result Reporting:

If you are competing offline independently, you must enter your Crazy In Love Erg Marathon results into the ErgZone app within 24 hours of finishing the event to appear on the leaderboard.

If you decide, “THAT’S ENOUGH!” and break up with your erg and this event, send us a screenshot at info@foolsfestsprints.com of how far you made it. You still get your can coolie, AND you’ll get a Dear John letter as well!

Love Rating Categories:

• 2.45 hrs or less = OBSESSED
• 3 hrs = SERIOUS
• 4 hrs = WILD
• 5 hrs = FLIRTING
• 6 hrs = CRUSH
• 7 hrs = FRIENDS
• 8-24 hrs = BLAH

• All race results reported to Concept2 rankings.

Crazy In Love Erg Marathon Prizes!!

Full-entry racers will receive

• Official Crazy In Love UV-protected race decal
• A statement of devotion if they finish the marathon or a Dear John letter if they break up with the event

Speed Pass Racers will get access to the race but no merch or media.

Start time is 8 am CDT

RACERS IN OTHER TIME ZONES may compete independently at their local time on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 8 am, but MUST manually submit their results on ErgZone within 24 hours of completing the event at their local time.

COMPETING ON AN OLDER MODEL ERG? You can still compete if your erg doesn't have a PM5 monitor. You won't be able to connect to live racing on ErgZone, but once you manually submit your score on the ErgZone app, it will count in our official results and rankings.

There will be no refunds. Please know this upfront. We count on your entry fee to support this event and all its associated costs.
