Do Work - Labor Day Erg Competition

Let's do work! The Challenge: 10x100m with 10 seconds rest in between for a total of 1000 meters. Behold the power of 10s.

Where is your sweet spot? Do you have a monster start? Are you a master of the middle? A negative splitting wizard? Or is consistency from start to finish your secret? Show us what you've got! You labor for that which you love, and you love that for which you labor. Let’s do work!

• Fastest/Best Interval
• Most Overall Calories
• Most Accurate Rower: Match Initial Pace & Rate.

• Results reported to Concept2 Rankings.

Entry Fee Options:

• Full Entry $25 – All race merch and media
• Speed Pass Entry $15 – Race access only

Entry fees are the same for US and International racers and include shipping and handling.

Do Work Labor Day Erg Comp Prizes!!

Full-entry racers will receive:

• 2" UV-protected vinyl Do Work race decal
• A social media share image of their accomplishment

Speed Pass Racers will get access to the race but no merch or media.

• SGGM = Super Great Grand Master > 70
• GGM = Great Grand Master > 60
• GM = Grand Master – 50-60
• M = Master – 27-49
• O = Open – 20-26
• JR = Junior – 0-19

Weight Categories

• Lightweight Women: <= 135lbs (61.5kg)
• Heavyweight Women: > 135 lbs (61.6kg)
• Lightweight Men <= 165lbs (75kg)
• Heavyweight Men > 165lbs (75kg)

Rules & Info

RACERS IN OTHER TIME ZONES may compete at their local time on Sunday, Sept 1, 2024, at 9 am, but they MUST submit their results within 24 hrs of completion. If your time zone is ahead of ours on the clock, you will need to wait for our race to finish before you can submit your results on ErgZone.

COMPETING ON AN OLDER MODEL ERG? You can still compete if your erg doesn't have a PM5 monitor. You cannot participate in live racing on ErgZone, but your score will count in our FFS website's official results and rankings.

Refunds & Scratches

There will be no refunds. Please know this upfront. We count on your entry fee to support this event and all its associated costs.
