Winter months are for training! This one is for those who can’t get enough time in the saddle. The Heaven Help Us Half Marathon is a virtual erg race that will convince you one way or the other if distance rowing is your jam.

The Heaven Heard Us Half Marathon

For those who want to earn our half marathon race decal but know they can't achieve it in one shot, we offer this version of the event!

We will complete four 5,000m rows and one 1,097m row in 48 hours. Once you start, you are on the clock in the two-day count down.

Entry Fee Options:

• Full Entry $25 – All race merch and media
• Speed Pass Entry $15 – Race access only

Entry fees are the same for US and International racers and include shipping and handling.

Heaven Help Us Half Marathon Prizes!

Full-entry racers will receive:

• 3" UV-protected vinyl Heaven Help Us Half race decal
• A social media share image of their accomplishment

Speed Pass Racers will get access to the race but no merch or media.

Rules & Info

RACE Start time is 8 am CDT

RACERS IN OTHER TIME ZONES have the entire month of May to submit their times on Ergzone. The deadline to submit scores for the Crazy In Love Erg Marathon–RACE and Heaven Help Us Half Marathon–RACE is May 31, 2026. This allows you to complete both the half and full marathon distances any time within the month if you are a distance warrior.

COMPETING ON AN OLDER MODEL ERG? You can still compete if your erg doesn't have a PM5 monitor. You won't be able to connect to live racing on ErgZone, but once you manually submit your score on the ErgZone app, it will count in our official results and rankings.

Age Divisions

• SGGM = Super Great Grand Master > 70
• GGM = Great Grand Master > 60
• GM = Grand Master – 50-60
• M = Master – 27-49
• O = Open – 20-26
• JR = Junior – 0-19

Weight Categories

• Lightweight Women: <= 135lbs (61.5kg)
• Heavyweight Women: > 135 lbs (61.6kg)
• Lightweight Men <= 165lbs (75kg)
• Heavyweight Men > 165lbs (75kg)
