Description
This is a complete 8-week 500m indoor rowing and weight training plan by Lightweight Men's 500m World Record Holder and 3x 500m World Champion, Steve Tague. These workouts were used by Steve to break the Lightweight Men's 60 World Record, and win 3 World Championships in the 500m. The workouts were developed with the help of 2x Olympic Medalist Rebecca Romero, specifically for this purpose.
This plan will focus on building your strength, power, quickness and endurance to improve your 500m indoor rowing time. Program contains 3-4 rowing workouts including an endurance/recovery workout, and 1-2 weight training workouts per week. There is a lighter recovery week mid-way through, and a taper/race prep week before your final 500m TT.
This program includes all rowing workouts programmed with ErgZone, plus; app with 1-2 weekly weight training sessions, bi-weekly check-ins, coaching feedback on workouts, and support for basic questions regarding the training plan.
